The Bridge House Education Centre
With an aim to inspire children's interest in nature and develop an appreciation for the natural world, we work mainly through outdoor learning. Working within our native biodiversity and natural landscapes should be exciting and through informal, practical learning we find that kids learn more effectively, allowing them to gain knowledge at their own individual level. Here at Glenveagh we are surrounded by woodland, bog land and freshwater habitats which we allow children to explore. Families are also welcome to visit the centre at special weekends and events.
We cover general ecology, biology, conservation and sustainability, extending across many areas in the SESE and STEM curriculums.
The Bridge House is an accredited Discover Primary Science and Maths centre and we do our utmost to include all aspects of STEM in each field trip visit.
Field trips available for:
- Pre-school groups
- Primary schools
- Secondary schools
- Special Needs Groups
- Youth & Community Clubs

We also offer practical training courses for teachers, parents & leaders on how best to communicate and explain the environment, nature and conservation to kids.
